From any of the rooms the view is incredible, since the hotel is on top of a lofty ridge overlooking Agios Giorgios bay. And there are beautiful swallows flying everywhere and butterflies as well. It's paradise. But to have a private pool on a balcony overlooking the bay in addition to everything else is truly to sit on Zeus' throne. I've traveled all over Greece for the past 15 years and the high end rooms at this hotel are an amazing bargain for the money. Plus, the people who work at the hotel are wonderful. It is a family business. Marios and Kostas really took care of us. We were there for our honeymoon and my wife couldn't have been happier. Just down the ridge from the hotel is a small dirt path that will take you to Porto Timoni beach in 20 minutes by foot. An amazing beach! And Agios Giorgios beach is just down the ridge in another direction. This hotel gives you amazing views and two great beaches in walking distance. It's a real hidden gem of Corfu and the little village it's in, Afionas, has several other nice restaurants and one great one also with an amazing view at sunset. I feel like this hotel and village will continue to grow in popularity, so try it out while it's not yet over touristed and still authentic.
