This nice and tastefully decorated hotel offered us wonderful views to the mountains (room facing the valley) and kind and attentive staff made us feel special! For example great buffet breakfast mixed with ‘served to order’ scrambled eggs with amazing pancetta served entirely for two of us first morning! (it was off season so not many guests). Alpen Chalet is situated not far (~20-30min drive) from local skiing resorts of Borno and Colere - great choice for the weekend getaway without the crowds and with special authentic attention. Very nice hotel bar with plenty of choices for drinks (and complimentary snacks) seemed to be loved also by locals! Good locel wine and local gin selection and all with very reasonable price tag. No problems with parking the car and overall feeling of the Alpen Chalet is fresh, unique and worth a separate visit! I wish the family running the hotel the best of luck and hope to come back with my family soon enough!
